asked the Minister of Land and Natural Resources whether he will announce the membership of the Land Commission.

Mr. Willey

The membership will be as follows:

  • George Chetwynd, Esq. (Deputy Chairman)
  • C. Douglas Calverley, Esq.
  • Harold W. Cauthery, Esq.
  • James Farquharson, Esq., S.S.C.
  • A. Raymond Mais, Esq., O.B.E., J.P.
  • Melvyn W. Rosser, Esq.
  • Sir Harold Samuel
  • Wyndham Thomas, Esq.

Formal appointments will be made within the next few days.

All the members except Mr. Cauthery will serve on a part-time basis.
