HC Deb 15 February 1967 vol 741 cc100-1W
Sir Knox Cunningham

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he will state the number of fatal accidents during the last convenient 12-month period suffered by the drivers of tractors used in agriculture fitted with cabs for the driver and those without such a fitting, respectively.

Mr. Hoy

In England and Wales in the twelve months ended 31st December, 1966, there were no fatal accidents to drivers of agricultural tractors fitted with safety cabs or frames; 39 drivers without this protection were killed when their tractors overturned.
