asked the Minister of Power if he will provide facilities for a spray steelmaking plant at Millom, Cumberland, as a commercial unit for the cheaper production of billet steel and to help in the reduction of unemployment in the area.

As my right hon. Friend the Minister of Technology told my hon. Friend the Member for Sheffield, Heeley (Mr. Hooley) on 31st January representations have been made to his Department for financial assistance to develop the process commercially.
