Mr. Ian Lloyd

asked the First Secretary of State and Secretary of State for Economic Affairs what has been the total cost of the advertisements run by his Department for economists since November, 1966.

Mr. Frederick Lee

Nothing. The Department has not advertised for economists in this period. The hon. Member may have in mind recent advertisements by the Civil Service Commission.
