§ Mr. Biffenasked the Minister of Technology what consultations he had with the National Board for Prices and Incomes concerning the prices of spare parts manufactured by Lucas Limited; under what section of the Prices and Incomes Act the pricing policy of this company was referred to the Board; and if he will make available in the House of Commons Library a copy of the findings of the Board on this subject.
§ Mr. BennNone. The proposals submitted by Joseph Lucas Ltd., met the requirements of the White Paper on the Period of Severe Restraint (Cmnd. 3150) and in the view of my right hon. Friend the First Secretary of State and Secretary of State for Economic Affairs and myself no reference to the National Board for Prices and Incomes was called for.
