§ 101. Mr. John Leeasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will investigate atmosphere pollution occasioned by gas effluent emanating from domestic gas plants.
§ Mr. MellishGas effluent from plants producing gas for domestic purposes is controlled under the Alkali &c. Works Regulation Act 1906; plants are inspected regularly by the Alkali Inspectors to ensure that the best practicable means are employed for minimising the emissions, and rendering them harmless and inoffensive.
