§ Mr. Hamlingasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will introduce legislation to permit and facilitate the participation of students at universities and other establishments of higher education in the government of their university or college.
§ Mr. CroslandI do not think that legislation is needed. But I have made it clear that I am most anxious to see systematic arrangements made for due consultation between students and university and college authorities on matters of proper concern to the students.
