asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will give the number of persons convicted under the Drugs (Prevention of Misuse) Act, 1964, within the Metropolitan Police area and in England and Wales, respectively, during each of the last three quarters of 1966.

The figures for the Metropolitan Police District are 139, 212 and 217 and for England and Wales 219, 303 and 356. The figures for the last quarter of 1966 are provisional.
