§ Mr. HoyThe research effort of our Department is deployed in the main fisheries of importance to the British316W fishing industry. While this work contributes to the general knowledge of marine sources of world food supplies and our scientists are collaborating in the international study of this problem, our research is not specifically directed to that purpose. It is planned to increase the investigations in the North-West Atlantic and to examine the potentialities for our industry of the South Atlantic fishing grounds.
