Russellasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he is aware that planning blight due to the Wembley Central Development Plan is causing hardship to owners who want to sell their houses in the Wembley Central area of Brent because neither private owners nor the Brent Borough Council will buy them; and if he will take steps to remove this hardship.
§ Mr. MacCollIf the local authority wish to buy such property on hardship 261W grounds, my right hon. Friend is always prepared to consider an application from them for loan sanction for this purpose.
