§ Mr. Patrick Jenkinasked the President of the Board of Trade if he will list the mergers that have been referred to him by the Monopolies Commission, indicating, in each case, the date of reference, the date of the Commission's report, his own decision, and whether the reference was made under section 6(1)(b)(i) or section 6(1)(b)(ii) of the Monopolies and Mergers Act, 1965.

The Commission found that proposals (1), (3) and (4) were not against the public interest but they recommended that proposal (2) should not be allowed. In every case I have accepted the conclusions of the Commission.
