§ Mr. Fisherasked the Minister of Overseas Development whether the Virgin Islands Government have yet examined the cost of enlarging and surfacing the Beef Island airfield; and what financial contribution Her Majesty's Government will now make towards implementing this project.
§ Mr. OramA survey party from the Royal Engineers has submitted to the Virgin Islands Government a report on the cost of improving the airfield. The Government have been informed that the British Government is in principle prepared to consider sympathetically a request for the project to be financed from the territory's C. D. & W. allocation for the period 1968–70.
