§ Mr. ReynoldsYes. This recommendation was fully discussed with my right hon. Friend the Minister of Housing and Local Government.
The auction sale particulars will include a statement drawing the attention of intending purchasers to the proximity of the airfield to Dawley New Town and the proposed expansion area.
§ Mr. Fowlerasked the Secretary of State for Defence whether he has complied with the undertaking given by the then Under-Secretary of State for Defence for the Royal Air Force, in a Written Answer on 3rd June, 1965, that four former owners of land forming part of High Ercall airfield, Shropshire, would be given an opportunity of repurchasing their holdings; and how many of the four have repurchased.
