§ Mr. Bodyasked the Minister of Land and Natural Resources how many acres of agricultural land he estimates will be taken for use as reservoirs in the next 10 years.
§ Mr. WilleyNo firm estimate is possible. But an examination of major schemes approved or in prospect suggests that the total amount of land required in England and Wales may be of the order of 20,000 to 25,000 acres. Most of the land in question is in some form of agricultural use, including upland sheep farming.
