HC Deb 21 December 1967 vol 756 cc470-1W
21. Mr. Alison

asked the Secretary of State for Economic Affairs to what extent devaluation has led him to change his estimate of the scope for a prices and incomes policy in the Government's economic strategy.

Mr. Frederick Lee:

An effective policy for productivity, prices and incomes has a vital contribution to make if the nation is to use fully the opportunities for increasing exports and we believe that there will be the necessary wide support for the policy to be applied effectively.
