§ Mr. Biggs-Davisonasked the Minister of Transport what is her programme for discussions between her Department and the Chigwell Urban District Council and the Epping and Ongar Rural District Council, respectively, on the route of the M11; and what arrangements have been made for local public inquiries into objections.
§ Mr. Carmichael:Discussions with officials of Epping and Ongar Rural District Council were held on 13th December, and similar meetings with Chigwell Urban District Council and other local authorities are under consideration. Meanwhile the need for a public inquiry remains an open question.
