HL Deb 19 December 1967 vol 287 c1432WA
VISCOUNT BLEDISLOE

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they propose, and if so when, to implement the recommendations of the Report of the Forest of Dean Committee dated September 27, 1958 with particular reference to Section VI of that Report relating to grazing in the Forest of Dean.

LORD BESWICK

A number of the recommendations in the Report to which the noble Lord refers have been implemented. The long-established practice of sheep grazing in the Forest presents a difficult problem. Legislation would be necessary to deal with it, but I cannot say when this will be possible.

House adjourned at twenty-seven minutes past six o'clock.
