§ 90. Mr. Higginsasked the Minister of Transport whether she will ask the appropriate transport users' consultative committee for a report on the effects of weather on the operations of British Railways, Southern Region, in view of the fact that the information made available to passengers about cancellations and delays is inadequate, communication between control and individual stations is at times non-existent and rail journeys of 60 miles may take over eight hours.
§ Mr. John Morris:I regret the inconvenience caused to passengers by the recent bad weather but my right hon. Friend does not think that she should refer this to the T.U.C.C.
