§ 22. Dr. David Kerrasked the Minister of Labour what progress he is making in promoting an occupational health service to provide advice, diagnosis and treatment at work for all employees.
§ Mr. Fernyhough:My right hon. Friend has accepted in principle the recommendations of the Sub-Committee of the Industrial Health Advisory Committee set up to review the Appointed Factory Doctor Service, and he is working out draft proposals for their implementation. In addition, my right hon. Friend has recently extended the work of the Factory Inspectorate in industrial hygiene by setting up an Industrial Hygiene Division.
