§ 56. Mr. Conlanasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will take steps to prohibit the use of non-returnable glass containers for distribution of liquids to the general public and to ensure their replacement by containers made from unbreakable materials.
§ Mr. Ennals:I share my hon. Friend's concern about the careless disposal of 201W glass containers, but it is not yet practicable for all soft drinks to be sold in unbreakable containers although the trade are actively exploring this possibility.
