§ Mr. Whitakerasked the Minister of Power whether he will introduce legislation to make it a criminal offence to use a pre-payment electricity slot meter to overcharge tenants.
§ Mr. Freeson:The Electricity Consultative Councils have been asked to keep a watch on how the maximum prices which the Electricity Boards have fixed for electricity resold for domestic purposes are working in practice and it has been made clear that further action will be considered if the evidence shows this to be necessary.
