HC Deb 12 December 1967 vol 756 cc100-1W
Mr. Biggs-Davison

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will make a statement on the progress achieved in securing an agreed draft for a non-proliferation treaty.

Mr. Mulley

The negotiations have continued, but the position is still substantially as described to the House on 2nd November. Her Majesty's Government trust that their offer on safeguards which I announced to the House on 4th December, will assist in bringing these negotiations to a speedy and successful conclusion.—[Vol. 753, c. 462; Vol. 755, c 963.]
