§ Mr. MellishIn July, last year, it was agreed that an existing U.S.A.F.E. pavement marking machine might be used at U.S.A.F. main flying bases in the United Kingdom provided that it was operated only by United States uniformed personnel and marking was confined to operational areas. Roads and parking areas, for instance, were excluded.
The U.S.A.F. have strictly observed these arrangements but I am considering whether they should be reviewed in the light of representations my Department has received from certain British contractors.
