70. Mr. Bob Brownasked the Minister of Labour how many men will not be reabsorbed in other pits, following the closure of North Walbottle Colliery; and what consultations have taken place on the provision of alternative employment.
§ Mr. Fernyhough:It is not yet known how many of the present labour force will have to seek work when North Walbottle Colliery closes.
