§ Miss Quennellasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether, in view of the need for farmers to have the latest possible accurate information on the daily outbreaks of foot-and-mouth disease, he will instruct his Department to make such information known up till midnight each day.
§ Mr. PeartInformation on any new outbreak involving a change in an infected area or a new infected area is always available throughout the 24 hours. Full details of the latest disease situation are made available at 5 p.m. each day and cumulative figures of outbreaks since 5 p.m.. together with names of parishes, are issued at 8 p.m., 11.30 p.m., 6 a.m., and 12 noon.
I think that this fully meets the need.
