HC Deb 11 December 1967 vol 756 cc6-7W
66. Mr. Ridsdale

asked the Minister of Health how many officials from, and consultants employed by, his Department have visited the United States of America in the last six months; and what was the cost to his department of these visits.

Mr. K. Robinson:

Twenty persons employed by my Department have visited the United States since 1st June last at a cost to the Exchequer in travelling and subsistence allowances of about£7,000. I do not collect information about visits abroad of consultants employed by hospital Boards.
