§ Mr. Cledwyn HughesThe figure of £2½ milion to which my hon. Friend refers has no foundation whatsoever. My Department is exercising strict control over the expenditure involved and from provisional estimates already made, I expect the total Exchequer cost to be well below £½ million. This does not include expenditure on road improvements which may need to be brought forward in time for the ceremony.
