§ The Prime MinisterThe position is precisely the same as in previous Administrations, namely that while the particular procedures of inquiry known as positive vetting have never been thought appropriate for Ministers, the Prime Minister of the day satisfies himself as to the suitability of those whose names he submits to Her Majesty.
