§ Mr. Harold LeverThe withdrawal of the extra amount in the S.E.T. premium from manufacturers outside development areas is one of the measures being taken to reduce public expenditure. Since the full premium will continue to be paid in development areas, most Scottish manufacturers will be unaffected by the change.
