§ Mr. Tilneyasked the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Affairs what discussions he has had with the Nigerian Government to safeguard the market for Nigerian produce in this country which has been damaged by the devaluation of the British £ sterling.
§ Mr. WhitlockWe recognise that there is a serious problem here and we have had informal discussions with a representative of the Nigerian Government and also with other interests concerned. The issues are complex and are still being considered.
