asked the Minister of Health, in view of the needs of the North-East to increase employment opportunities and the urgent needs of completing the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gateshead, project, if he will expedite his plans by bringing forward the building of the accident and emergency department and the remainder of the X-ray department, at present planned to start after 1969–70.
