Contributions to the value of individual products exported may be made by industry in more than one part of the United Kingdom, and goods are not necessarily shipped abroad from the part of the country in which the final stage of their manufacture takes place. It would not be practicable to attempt to obtain figures relating to the separate contribution of Wales (as of Scotland, Northern Ireland and any region of England) to exports.
