§ Mr. Joplingasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what guarantees he has obtained from the Irish Government that they will not subsidise the export of beef in the future, as they did in the autumn of 1966.
§ Mr. PeartI have had talks with the Minister of Agriculture for the Irish Republic about the trade in live animals and carcase meat between the two countries. I shall be continuing these talks next month. Meantime it would be wrong to comment on topics we are discussing.
