§ Mr. Hector Hughesasked the President of the Board of Trade if he will state the requirements expected of women seeking to obtain a yacht master's ticket, indicating the fees to be paid, the subjects of the examinations to be passed, where they are held, and the number of 297W Scottish women who have qualified in the last five years.
§ Mr. J. P. W. MallalieuThe requirements for men and women are the same and are contained in a Board of Trade publication which I will send to my hon. and learned Friend. In the last five years 13 women have obtained a Yacht Master's Certificate of whom four were born in Scotland.
