§ Mr. Peter Millsasked the Minister of Power what is his estimate, to the latest date available, of the effect of the measures announced on 12th April, 1965, 254W on the number of tons of coal bought by Government Departments and public buildings under their control, by local authorities, by the Central Electricity Generating Board and by the Gas Council and the area gas boards.
§ Mr. FreesonIn the year 1966–67 the additional amount of coal taken as the result of these measures is estimated at about 4¼ million tons.
