§ Mr. MellishIn England the following 28 consortia have been formed. There is evidence that consortia are able to obtain keen prices but it is not possible to quantify for each consortium the savings on what the authorities might have had to pay acting individually:

- South Western Housing Group.
- Gloucester and Herefordshire Housing Group.
- Midlands Housing Consortium.
- Midlands Housing Consortium—Northern Group.
