Mr. J. H. Osborn

asked the President of the Board of Trade what grants have been made by Her Majesty's Government since the end of World War II for civil airport construction and maintenance; if he will tabulate in each instance the date the grant was made, for what purpose, and the amount involved; and what projects, supported by Government grant, are still under construction.

In addition to the large sums expended on Government owned aerodromes the grants shown in the following schedule have been made to non-State aerodromes. The list is not exhaustive in view of the disproportionate cost involved in compiling a complete list.
