§ Mr. J. P. W. MallalieuApart from the special case of the Highlands and Islands, it is not the Government's policy to provide civil aerodromes. The Board of Trade has had no request for a grant for an aerodrome to serve Sheffield, nor evidence that such a grant might be needed. The City of Sheffield have requested general and technical information regarding aerodromes from the Board of Trade and this has been provided.
