Mr. Cordle

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science (1) what plans he has for providing a gymnasium for the Bournemouth colleges of technology and art;

(2) what plans he has for increasing the accommodation for the Students' Union of the Bournemouth colleges which has been approved in principle since 1949.

The provision of these facilities is for the Local Education Authority to consider in the first place but I understand that they are fully aware of the need and are examining urgently how it can best be met.
