§ Mr. Hector Hughesasked the President of the Board of Trade how many advance factories he has built in Aberdeen during each of the last 10 years; and what plans he has to build more there.
§ Mr. JayThe advance factories have been authorised in Aberdeen, one in 1965 and the other in 1966. The construction of the first of these will shortly be completed, and I hope that building work on the second will be finished by October next. I have no plans to build more advance factories in Aberdeen at present, but I will take account of the needs of the district when arranging further programmes.
