HC Deb 17 April 1967 vol 745 c13W
82. Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Minister of Health why, in view of the fact that the hon. Member for West Ham, North, spoke to his Department and wrote on 21st March, 1967, concerning an urgent matter connected with a woman becoming pregnant after an operation for sterilisation, he did not send a formal acknowledgement until 10th April; why a positive reply has not yet been received by the hon. Member for West Ham, North; and whether he will expedite his inquiries into this matter.

Mr. K. Robinson

An acknowledgment was sent on the 22nd March, 1967, and an interim reply on 10th April. I am awaiting a report from the hospital
