§ Mr. Tinnasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether he will state for the year ended 31st March, 1967, in respect of development districts 40W in the North-East, the number of applications for grants for the clearance of derelict land, the number approved, giving cost and acreage, the number rejected, and the number under consideration.
§ Mr. WilleyDuring the year ended 31st March, 1967, 17 applications were received. Of these, 2 involving some 11 acres were approved for grant at a cost of£9,312, 5 involving 35 acres received outline approval and 9 covering 317 acres were still under consideration. One application covering I acre was rejected. In addition, 7 other schemes submitted earlier and covering about 80 acres received approval during the year at a cost of£73,461.
