§ Mr. William RodgersHer Majesty's Government have friendly relations with Burma and sympathise with her Government's desire to pursue a neutral and nonaligned policy. But we regret Burma's refusal so far to sanction remittances for most former British residents and to pay satisfactory compensation to British firms whose property has been nationalised.
