§ Mr. Eyreasked the Minister of Public Building and Works on what date a lease was taken by his Department of premises at Fountain Court, Steelhouse Lane, in the city of Birmingham; what is the amount of rent payable to date; what was the cost of fitting out offices upon the premises and the length of time taken in carrying out such work; and what is the date from which the premises will be occupied and rates payable.
§ Mr. PrenticeThe lease was formally completed in February, 1966, following an agreement in March, 1965. Work to prepare the premises for occupation, costing about £10,000, has been completed since that date. It is not the Ministry's practice to disclose rents. The offices are due to be occupied next week.
