Mr. Gwnfor Evans

asked the Secretary of State for Wales, in view of the inadequate transport communications in Wales, what plans he has to secure helicopters for the service of the Welsh Office.

Mr. Cledwyn Hughes

It is not at present economical to make general use of helicopters, but wherever possible civil aviation facilities will be developed in Wales. At present arrangements can be made for special flights where appropriate.
