HC Deb 11 April 1967 vol 744 cc170-1W
Mr. Woodburn

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether, in view of the out-of-date buildings and the difficult conditions under which medical and other research scientists have to work, he will consider converting redundant schools with their light classrooms as up-to-date laboratories.

Mr. Crosland

Decisions on this matter are for individual institutions in consultation with the local education authorities concerned. If my right hon. Friend has any particular possibility in mind, perhaps he will let me know.
