HC Deb 11 April 1967 vol 744 c167W
Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Prime Minister whether he is aware of the growing practice of Ministers not replying to correspondence from Members of Parliament during Parliamentary Recesses; and whether he will arrange that a Minister or Junior Minister is available to reply to Members' correspondence during recesses rather than keep Members of Parliament waiting for long periods without replies.

The Prime Minister

I am not so aware, but if my hon. Friend has any particular instances of difficulty in mind perhaps he would take them up with the Ministers concerned.
