§ Mr. Hoosonasked the Minister of Transport whether, in view of the growing importance of the tourist industry in west and north-west Wales, she will reconsider her decision to allow the closure of the Dovey Junction to Pwllheli railway line.
§ Mr. John MorrisMy right hon. Friend has taken no decision on the closure of the line from Dovey Junction to Pwllheli: unless and until the Railways Board decides to proceed with publication of a closure proposal under Section 56 of the 1962 Transport Act and such a proposal is opposed, there can be no question of her having to take a decision in the matter.
