§ 52. Dame Irene Wardasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the London and Scottish clearing banks have agreed to a fixed lending rate of 5½ per cent. to shipowners making use of the Shipbuilding Industry Bill.
§ Mr. MacDermotDiscussions with the banks are not yet quite completed, but I have no doubt that this will be one element in the arrangements.
