§ Mr. SwinglerThere have been three accidents involving collisions between cars and trains at automatic half-barrier 63W crossings, none involving motor-cyclists, pedal-cyclists or pedestrians. One accident resulted in the death of the car driver. It has been reported that in all three cases the automatic half-barrier equipment and the associated red flashing light signals were operating correctly.
